In that time, I鈥檝e built up a massive bank of knowledge and resources to help my students to achieve to the best of their ability. This year I made the difficult decision to step away from classroom teaching to explore different career possibilities and have finally had the time to collate some of these resources.
After successfully using them with my 11-year-old son, who is also preparing for his tests this year, and my biggest critic (as seen below 馃槉), I decided to put them all together, smarten them up and share them with other parents or teachers.

How SATs in 6 resources work
If you do decide to purchase any of my SATs in 6 resources, I want you to be happy with your purchase so please bear the following points in mind...
路 The resources are aimed at those pupils who are on track and expected to reach age related expectations at the end of the year AND those who are looking to get on track and need a little extra help.
路 The resources are intended to reinforce things that they will be learning in their own classes from their own teacher. They are intended to supplement and enhance real, actual, fantabulous teaching.
路 The questions may seem repetitive. This is deliberate. In my experience children benefit from learning in small chunks of time and coming back to the same areas repeatedly. Repetition is key.
路 And one more thing鈥ver my years in teaching, I鈥檝e come to know the privilege (and pain) of working with Year 6 students and it really is best to only use these resources if your child is in a positive mindset. The best thing for a worried Year 6 child is your time, cuddles and a reassuring chat.
